9 Ways to Wear Orange, as You Binge-Watch Orange Is the New Black

It’s hard to believe that Orange Is the New Black is already in its fifth season, out today on Netflix. Perhaps it’s because of the streaming model, where it’s so easy to binge-watch, or maybe it’s thanks to show runner Jenji Kohan’s ability to gracefully weave so many storylines together to keep things feeling fresh. Either way, there’s a whole new set of episodes to devour, starring the ladies of Litchfield in their standardized tangerine jumpsuits—a surprisingly versatile color that can easily brighten up a summer wardrobe, along with your laptop screen.

If your closet is overrun with little black dresses, opt for something like the elegant apricot Rejina Pyo, which would be perfect for a formal summer wedding. Neutrals may seem to be all the rage these days (perhaps thanks to the infamous Kardashian color palette, or lack thereof), but a deep Courrèges skirt keeps things interesting and pairs well with a Moschino flower purse for a full-on ’60s vibe. One could totally picture the old Piper Kerman (pre-Litchfield, naturally) wearing the kumquat-colored Lisa Marie Fernandez swimsuit and the Maryam Nassir Zadeh wedges on a luxurious beach somewhere. Here, nine radiant orange pieces worth wearing this summer, inspired by the OITNB premiere.
